The Stockholm Charter-Higher Education for Sustainable Industry :

Together with EFMD the leader in Business Education our organisations represent the leading S & T institutions, QA Agencies and stakeholders and represent senior staff and representatives of young engineers,

We consider that:
Industry is at a key point for environmental issues ant that the creation of sustainable industries is the main challenge for the future of the economies of the EU and Russia
Cooperation between Universities and Industry is key within the triangle of knowledge.

We declare that:
Sustainability in industry will result from proactive cooperation between higher S and T education and industry.
Tackling the challenge of sustainable industry requires a parallel change of paradigm in business education through corporate responsibility and in S and T education through sustainability being included in Masters level, MBA, engineering diploma and PhD education.
The most talented people will only be attracted to industry, research, innovation centres and entrepreneurship if their careers are improved by parallel changes in business schools and Sand T universities.

THESE ARE THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE EU RUSSIA SEMINAR Academia Excellence for industry sustainable in Resources, Energy, and information organised with HSV- the Swedish Chancellery of Universities and hosted by ERICSSON in Kista on December 9, 2009.

We share these common objectives:

These organizations decide to set up a consortium to support all the relative actions and answer the EC Calls for proposals: Erasmus, Tempus and FP7 programmes…
